tetrafluoroethylene.With excellent chemical stability,corrossion resistance,leakproofnes,high lubricity,electric insulation and aging resistance, PTFE is applied for engineering plastic. It can be made into PTFE tube,PTFE rod,PTFE film,PTFE sheetPTFE strip and so on.PTFE has also high temperature resistance characteristic and low frication coeffcien,so it can be applied for corrossion resistance pipe,container,pump,valve,communication equipment and radio equipment.
1..High temperature resiatance-working temperature can be reach at 250℃.
2.Low temperature resistance-with good mechanical toughness,keep 5% elongation even temperature goes down to -196℃.
3.Corrossion resistance-does not dissolve in strong acid and strong base,water and most of organic solvent.
4.Weather resistance-the longest aging life in plastic.
5.High lubrication-the lowest frication coefficient among solid material.
6.Inadhesion property-the smallest surface tension among solid material,does not adhere to ay material.
7.Harmless material-with physiological inertia,there is untoward effect when implanted as artificial blood and organs in to body.
8.Insulation property-can rsist to 1500V high voltage electricity.
